The American Dairy Coalition is commending Congressman Fred Keller on his proposal to GIVE MILK! Mr. Keller has introduced a bill to foster a taste for milk in children by expanding the variety of dairy products offered to them, including Whole Fat Milk!
Working with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) the initiative proposed will provide more support to ensure children have a richer nutritional source of protein and other critical dietary elements. The GIVE MILK Act may promote an update on current restrictive measures for Whole Fat Milk in schools. That would be a big benefit to the kids!
